  2. Rinse the duck under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  4. Rub the dry rub mixture all over the duck, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  5. Place the duck on the smoker rack, breast side up.

  7. Close the smoker and let the duck smoke for approximately 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Remove the smoked duck from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
