Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, buttermilk, and hot sauce. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, and Creole seasoning.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
  4. Dredge the shrimp in the cornmeal mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Fry the shrimp in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Spread the remoulade sauce on the inside of the hot dog buns.
  7. Fill each bun with lettuce, tomato slices, and fried shrimp.
  8. Serve the Shrimp Po' Boy Dogs immediately.
