Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a pan, dry roast the cumin seeds until they release their aroma.
  2. Grind the roasted cumin seeds into a fine powder.
  3. In a pot, add the water and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add the cumin powder to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool. Once cooled, add the lemon juice and stir well.
  7. Pour the mixture through a strainer to remove any cumin residue.
  8. Pour the sharbat into glasses, garnish with mint leaves, and serve chilled.
