Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the angel food cake mix and the crushed pineapple (including the juice). Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and invert the pan onto a wire rack. Let it cool completely.
  6. Once the cake is cooled, carefully run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cake. Remove the cake from the pan.
  7. Transfer the cake to a serving plate and top with whipped cream.
  8. Garnish with fresh pineapple slices and mint leaves.
  9. Slice and serve.
