Multekrem
Multekrem is a traditional Norwegian dessert, made with cloudberries, sugar, and whipped cream.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vanilla sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Cloudberries - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Rinse the cloudberries and mix them with sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for a few hours until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Add the vanilla sugar to the whipped cream and mix well.
- Gently fold the cloudberries into the whipped cream, being careful not to overmix.
- Chill the multekrem in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
