Mote Con Huesillo

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, combine the dried peaches, husked wheat, sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the peaches and wheat are tender.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  4. Once cooled, remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves from the pot.
  5. Serve the mote con huesillo in glasses, including some of the cooked peaches and wheat in each glass.
  6. Add ice cubes to each glass and enjoy!
