Jamaica Flower Iced Tea
A refreshing and tangy summer iced tea made with Jamaica flower (hibiscus).
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Ice cubes - To serve
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Water - 4 cups
- Dried jamaica flowers (hibiscus) - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Rinse the Jamaica flowers under cold water.
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the Jamaica flowers and sugar to the boiling water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, pressing on the flowers to extract all the juice.
- Add the lime juice and stir well.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice.
