Grilled Cheese with Pesto and Mozzarella

Let's Get Started

  1. Spread pesto sauce evenly on two slices of bread.
  2. Place two slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto sauce on each slice of bread.
  3. Cover with the remaining two slices of bread to form sandwiches.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Spread butter on one side of each sandwich.
  6. Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, on the skillet or griddle.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
  8. Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  9. Remove from heat and let cool for a minute before serving.
  10. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
