Gratin de Brocolis
This delicious gratin de brocolis is a creamy and cheesy broccoli casserole that makes a perfect side dish.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Gruyere cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Milk - 2 cups
- All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Broccoli - 2 heads, cut into florets
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the grated Gruyere cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
