Foie Gras on Toast

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into thin rounds and arrange on a baking sheet.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in the oven until they are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  4. While the bread is toasting, slice the foie gras into thin slices.
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter.
  6. Add the foie gras slices to the pan and sear on each side for about 1 minute, until they are lightly browned.
  7. Remove the foie gras from the pan and set aside.
  8. Spread a thin layer of fig jam on each toast point.
  9. Top each toast point with a slice of foie gras.
  10. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
  11. Serve immediately.
