The Edinburgh Fog, also known as Earl Grey Latte, is a creamy and comforting tea-based beverage infused with the flavors of bergamot and vanilla.
Ingredients - Serves 1
- Ground cinnamon (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon
- Honey or sweetener of choice - 1-2 teaspoons
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Boiling water - 1 cup
- Earl grey tea bags - 2
Let's Get Started
- Place the Earl Grey tea bags in a cup and pour boiling water over them. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Remove the tea bags from the cup and add the vanilla extract and honey or sweetener. Stir well to combine.
- Pour the hot milk into the cup with the tea, holding back the foam with a spoon.
- Using a milk frother or whisk, froth the milk until it becomes creamy and foamy.
- Gently pour the frothed milk over the tea, allowing some foam to float on top.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, if desired.
