Dublin Fog is a delightful twist on the classic Earl Grey tea, combining it with steamed milk and a touch of vanilla.
Ingredients - Serves 1
- Ground cinnamon (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon
- Honey or sweetener of choice - 1-2 teaspoons
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 cup
- Boiling water - 1 cup
- Earl grey tea bags - 2
Let's Get Started
- Place the Earl Grey tea bags in a cup and pour boiling water over them. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Remove the tea bags from the cup and add the vanilla extract and honey or sweetener. Stir well.
- Using a milk frother or whisk, froth the hot milk until it becomes creamy and foamy.
- Pour the frothed milk into the cup with the tea, holding back the foam with a spoon.
- Gently stir the milk and tea together, then spoon the foam on top.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, if desired.
