Bubble Tea
A popular Taiwanese drink that combines tea, milk, and tapioca pearls into a fun and refreshing beverage.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Ice cubes - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Tapioca pearls - 1/2 cup
- Black tea bags - 2
- Water - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- Boil 2 cups of water and steep the tea bags for 5 minutes.
- In another pot, boil the remaining 2 cups of water. Add the tapioca pearls and cook according to package instructions.
- Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse under cold water. Mix with half of the sugar until well coated.
- Remove the tea bags and mix in the remaining sugar until dissolved. Allow the tea to cool.
- Divide the tapioca pearls between two glasses. Pour in the tea, followed by the milk. Add ice cubes and stir well before serving.
