Bison Burgers with Sweet Potato Fries

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into fries. Toss with olive oil, paprika, and salt, then spread out on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake the sweet potato fries for 15 minutes, then flip and bake for another 15 minutes, or until crispy.
  4. While the fries are baking, mix the ground bison, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 4 patties.
  5. Cook the bison patties on a grill or stovetop over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is reached.
  6. Serve the bison burgers on whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, and onion, alongside the sweet potato fries.
