Balut
Balut is a popular Filipino street food made from fertilized duck eggs.

- Vinegar - For dipping

Let's Get Started
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- Carefully place the balut eggs into the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let the eggs simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove the eggs from the pot and let them cool slightly.
- Tap the top of each egg to crack the shell, then peel off the top portion.
- Sprinkle some salt on the exposed yolk and white.
- Serve the balut eggs with vinegar for dipping.
- To eat, sip the broth inside the egg, then scoop out the yolk and white with a spoon.
