- Lime - 1, juiced
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 6 cups
- Dried hibiscus flowers - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Rinse the hibiscus flowers under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the hibiscus flowers. Cover the pot and let it steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, pressing on the flowers to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Add the sugar and lime juice to the pitcher and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Refrigerate the agua de Jamaica until it's chilled.
