White Wine Sauce

This creamy white wine sauce is perfect for drizzling over chicken, fish, or pasta.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Chicken or vegetable broth - 1/2 cup
  • Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
  • White wine - 1 cup
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the white wine and simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the alcohol evaporates.
  4. Add the heavy cream and broth, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the chopped parsley.
  7. Remove from heat and serve over your desired dish.
