Ingredients

  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1/4 cup, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1/4 cup, diced
  • Green bell pepper - 1/4 cup, diced
  • Ham - 1/4 cup, diced
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. Pour half of the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for a minute.
  4. Using a spatula, start from the edge and slowly swirl the egg mixture in a circular motion to create a tornado shape.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, bell peppers, and onion over the omelette.
  6. Continue cooking for another minute or until the cheese starts to melt.
  7. Carefully fold the omelette in half and cook for another minute to ensure the cheese is fully melted.
  8. Repeat the same steps with the remaining ingredients to make the second tornado omelette.
  9. Serve the tornado omelettes hot and enjoy!
