Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

A refreshing and simple salad made with ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil leaves.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - To taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Basil leaves - 1/2 cup, torn
  • Fresh mozzarella - 8 ounces
  • Tomatoes - 2 large, ripe

Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  2. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving platter, alternating between them.
  3. Sprinkle the torn basil leaves over the tomato and mozzarella slices.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
