Ingredients

  • Fresh basil leaves - 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Thai bird's eye chili - 2, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Chicken breast - 1 lb, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced chili to the hot oil and stir fry for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and stir fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
