Tandoori Turkey Legs

These flavorful tandoori turkey legs are marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, then grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Lime wedges - For serving
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 1 cup
  • Turkey legs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. Add the turkey legs to the marinade and coat them evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the turkey legs from the marinade and shake off any excess. Brush the legs with vegetable oil.
  5. Place the turkey legs on the grill and cook for about 20 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the turkey legs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
