Delicious and flavorful tandoori shrimp marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
Lemon wedges - For serving
Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Greek yogurt - 1/2 cup
Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
Grill the shrimp skewers for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
Remove the shrimp from the skewers and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Serve the tandoori shrimp with lemon wedges on the side.
