Tandoori Beef Kebabs

These flavorful tandoori beef kebabs are marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, then grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Plain yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Beef sirloin - 1.5 pounds, cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat them evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
