Taco Salad

This delicious taco salad is packed with flavor and perfect for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Salsa - 1/2 cup
  • Sour cream - 1/2 cup
  • Tortilla chips - 1 cup, crushed
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
  • Corn - 1 cup, cooked
  • Black beans - 1 can, drained and rinsed
  • Avocado - 1, diced
  • Tomatoes - 2, diced
  • Lettuce - 1 head, shredded
  • Taco seasoning - 1 packet
  • Ground beef - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocado, black beans, corn, and cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef to the bowl and toss to combine.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, salsa, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  6. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  7. Serve the taco salad topped with crushed tortilla chips.
