Swiss Chard and Gorgonzola Pasta

This delicious pasta dish combines the earthy flavors of Swiss chard with the creamy richness of Gorgonzola cheese.

Ingredients

  • Walnuts - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
  • Gorgonzola cheese - 4 ounces, crumbled
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Swiss chard - 1 bunch, stems removed and leaves chopped
  • Pasta - 8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the Swiss chard to the skillet and sauté until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
  7. Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped walnuts.
