Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Steelhead trout fillets - 2 fillets

Instructions

  1. Pat the steelhead trout fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  5. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  8. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  9. Pour the sauce over the steelhead trout fillets.
  10. Serve the steelhead trout with crispy skin immediately.
