Spiked Mulled Cider

This warm and cozy spiked mulled cider is perfect for chilly evenings. It's made with apple cider, spices, and a splash of rum.

Ingredients

  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Rum - 1/2 cup
  • Orange - 1, sliced
  • Whole cloves - 6
  • Cinnamon sticks - 2
  • Apple cider - 4 cups

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and orange slices.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the cider simmer for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the rum and honey.
  5. Strain the mulled cider to remove the spices and orange slices.
  6. Serve the spiked mulled cider warm in mugs.
  7. Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks or orange slices, if desired.
