Ingredients

  • Spaghetti - 12 ounces, cooked
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • White wine - 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes - 4 large, diced
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Clams - 1 pound, cleaned
  • Mussels - 1 pound, cleaned
  • Prawns - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, until they start to break down.
  4. Add the white wine and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the prawns, mussels, and clams to the skillet. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the shells have opened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the scampi alla scoglio over cooked spaghetti.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
