Ingredients

  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Butter - 1/2 cup, softened
  • French bread - 1 loaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
