Prawn and Mushroom Linguine

This delicious linguine dish features succulent prawns and earthy mushrooms in a flavorful garlic and white wine sauce.

Ingredients

  • Grated parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • White wine - 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Mushrooms - 150g, sliced
  • Prawns - 200g, peeled and deveined
  • Linguine pasta - 200g

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Push the mushrooms to one side of the skillet and add the prawns. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss everything together to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve the prawn and mushroom linguine hot and enjoy!
