Philly Cheese Steak and Bacon Sandwich

This mouthwatering sandwich combines tender beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheese for the ultimate indulgence.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Hoagie rolls - 2
  • Provolone cheese - 4 slices
  • Green bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Bacon - 4 slices, cooked crispy
  • Ribeye steak - 8 ounces, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5 minutes.
  3. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and spread mayonnaise on one side of each roll.
  4. Layer the cooked steak, bacon, sautéed onions, and green bell peppers on the bottom half of each roll.
  5. Top with provolone cheese slices and place the sandwiches under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the broiler and place the top half of the hoagie rolls on each sandwich.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
