Paneer Masala Dosa

A delicious South Indian dish, Paneer Masala Dosa is a perfect blend of spices and paneer wrapped in a crispy dosa.

Ingredients

  • Oil - As required
  • Salt - To taste
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger - garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
  • Onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Paneer - 200 grams, crumbled
  • Dosa batter - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add the crumbled paneer and cook for a few minutes. The paneer masala is ready.
  5. Heat a dosa pan and pour a ladleful of dosa batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  6. Spread a spoonful of paneer masala on the dosa and fold it.
  7. Cook the dosa on both sides until it is crispy and golden.
  8. Serve the Paneer Masala Dosa hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
