Mushroom and Shrimp Stir Fry

This delicious stir-fry combines tender shrimp and earthy mushrooms in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Mushrooms - 8 ounces, sliced
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, until everything is well coated and heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
