Mushroom and Shrimp Pasta

This creamy mushroom and shrimp pasta is a delicious and satisfying dish that combines the flavors of mushrooms, shrimp, garlic, and cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Heavy cream - 1 cup
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Mushrooms - 8 ounces, sliced
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Pasta - 8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and cooked shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp with the creamy sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
