Lobster Sauce

This rich and flavorful lobster sauce is perfect for serving with seafood dishes.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Heavy cream - 1 cup
  • Chicken broth - 2 cups
  • All - purpose flour - 4 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Butter - 4 tablespoons
  • Lobster tails - 2, cooked and chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and onion, and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, making sure there are no lumps.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the chopped lobster tails and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  10. Serve the lobster sauce over your favorite seafood dishes.
