Korean Spicy Chicken Wings

These Korean spicy chicken wings are crispy, flavorful, and packed with heat. Perfect for spice lovers!

Ingredients

  • Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (korean red pepper paste) - 1/4 cup
  • Chicken wings - 2 pounds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. While the wings are baking, prepare the garnish by chopping the green onions and toasting the sesame seeds.
  7. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish the wings with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
