Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon
Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
Paprika - 1 tablespoon
Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to make the blackened seasoning.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and sprinkle the blackened seasoning evenly over both sides of the shrimp.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
