Keto Blackened Shrimp

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - For garnish
  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to make the blackened seasoning.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and sprinkle the blackened seasoning evenly over both sides of the shrimp.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are opaque and cooked through.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and serve hot with lemon wedges.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
