Kaddu Ki Kheer

Kaddu Ki Kheer is a delicious Indian dessert made with pumpkin and milk. It's a perfect sweet dish for festive occasions.

Ingredients

  • Almonds - 10, chopped
  • Raisins - 10
  • Cashews - 10, chopped
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 litre
  • Pumpkin - 1 medium, peeled and grated

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated pumpkin. Saute for 5 minutes.
  2. Add milk to the pan and let it boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.
  4. Cook for another 10 minutes until the kheer thickens.
  5. Garnish with chopped cashews, raisins, and almonds.
  6. Serve the Kaddu Ki Kheer warm or chilled.
