Ham, Cheese, and Mushroom Omelette

This delicious omelette is filled with savory ham, melted cheese, and sautéed mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
  • Mushrooms - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Ham - 1/2 cup, diced
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ham to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until heated through.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges start to set, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the omelette.
  7. Using a spatula, fold the omelette in half and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the eggs are cooked through.
  8. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
