Halibut Blt Sandwich

This delicious Halibut BLT Sandwich combines crispy halibut fillets with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a tangy aioli sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Tomato - 2 slices
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Bacon - 4 slices, cooked
  • Halibut fillets - 2 fillets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the halibut fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil.
  4. Cook the halibut fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the aioli sauce.
  6. Toast the bread slices in the oven until lightly golden.
  7. Spread the aioli sauce on one side of each bread slice.
  8. Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, cooked halibut fillets, and bacon on two bread slices.
  9. Top with the remaining bread slices to make sandwiches.
  10. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
