Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Sandwich

This delicious sandwich combines the classic flavors of grilled cheese and tomato soup into one tasty dish.

Ingredients

  • Tomato soup - 1 cup
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
  • Bread - 4 slices

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  4. Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
  7. Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  8. Meanwhile, heat the tomato soup in a separate pot until hot.
  9. Serve the grilled cheese sandwiches with a side of tomato soup for dipping.
