Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, softened
  • Honey - 1/4 cup
  • Butter - 1/4 cup, melted
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Milk - 1 cup

  • Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • All - purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Cornmeal - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter. Add this to the cornmeal mixture and stir until just combined.
  3. Heat a griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
