Fig and Orange Marmalade Glazed Figs with Bacon

These delicious glazed figs are wrapped in bacon and coated with a sweet and tangy fig and orange marmalade glaze.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 sprig, chopped
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Orange marmalade - 2 tablespoons
  • Fig jam or preserves - 1/4 cup
  • Bacon slices - 8
  • Fresh figs - 8

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut a small slit in the top of each fig and stuff with a small amount of fig jam or preserves.
  3. Wrap each fig with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the orange marmalade, balsamic vinegar, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the figs with the glaze mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the figs are tender.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
