Classic Irish Coffee

A traditional Irish coffee made with whiskey, coffee, sugar, and topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • Cocoa powder - 1/2 teaspoon (optional, for garnish)
  • Whipped cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Irish whiskey - 1 1/2 ounces
  • Hot brewed coffee - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Pour hot brewed coffee into a heatproof glass or mug.
  2. Add the Irish whiskey and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Top with whipped cream, gently pouring it over the back of a spoon to create a layer.
  4. Optional: Dust with cocoa powder for garnish.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
