Chocolate Pudding

This creamy and rich chocolate pudding is perfect for any chocolate lover!

Ingredients

  • Whipped cream - For serving
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • Cornstarch - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the pudding thickens and comes to a boil, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and butter until the butter is melted and the pudding is smooth.
  5. Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  6. Serve with whipped cream on top.
