Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Delicious and fluffy pancakes filled with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons, melted
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1
  • Milk - 1 1/4 cups
  • Granulated sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
  • All - purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the melted butter and chocolate chips.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  9. Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup and additional chocolate chips on top.
