Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas - 6
  • Semi - sweet chocolate chips - 1 1/2 cups
  • Egg - 1
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 3/4 cup, packed
  • Granulated sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Unsalted butter - 1 cup, softened
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • All - purpose flour - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Warm each flour tortilla in the skillet for about 10 seconds on each side.
  8. Place a spoonful of cookie dough onto each warm tortilla and spread it out in a line down the center.
  9. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the cookie dough, then roll it up like a burrito.
