Cangrejos Enchilados

Cangrejos Enchilados is a delicious and spicy crab dish popular in Latin American cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - To taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Jalapeno pepper - 1, seeded and finely chopped
  • Green bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Tomato - 2 medium, diced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Crab - 1 pound, cleaned and cooked

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and peppers. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked crab to the skillet and stir to coat it with the sauce. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the lime juice and chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve hot with rice or tortillas.
