Bok Choy and Chicken Stir Fry

This delicious stir fry combines tender chicken and crisp bok choy in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Bok choy - 4 cups, chopped
  • Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add bok choy and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted but still crisp.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.
  7. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
