These delicious and healthy banana oatmeal cookies are perfect for a quick and easy snack.
Ingredients
Dark chocolate chips - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Honey - 2 tablespoons
Almond butter - 1/4 cup
Rolled oats - 1 1/2 cups
Ripe bananas - 2
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Add the rolled oats, almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and dark chocolate chips to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
